This dialog is accessed through the Service | Get Trace menu.
This dialog allows you to
see a trace of the last communication
with your data projector. It shows all of the steps taken to send a command and
receive a response.
If a command fails for some reason, you can see the point at which the command failed.
This is helpful in determining whether the communication problem lies in the PC, the cabling or the data projector.
The data sent and received from the projector will be displayed as plain text or decoded and presented as an ASCII value bracketed by less-than and greater-than symbols (i.e., <ASCII Value>.)
For example you might receive a response like this:
VOL<32>244<13>
In this example the <32> represents a space and the <13> represents a carriage return.
The "Copy to Clipboard" button provides an easy way to cut and paste the trace into an E-Mail if technical support is required.
