The "Send Command" dialog is accessed through the Service menu.
This dialog is used to send a command to your data projector. It is used primarily to help troubleshoot communication issues that you may be having with your data projector.
Any text that you enter into the Command: text entry field will be sent to the projector as-is. If you need to send a non-text character to the projector (i.e., carriage return, line feed etc.), you may enter it using this format:
<ASCII value>
The ASCII character specified by the number between the less-than and greater-than symbols will be sent to the projector and the the less-than and greater-than symbols will be discarded. In the example shown above, "VER?" followed by a carriage return will be sent to the projector.
The Timeout: value determines how many seconds Projector Patrol will wait for a response from the projector.
