You may find it useful to write a script that initializes the projector to a known state (initialize volume, video input etc.) when your computer boots up. Or you might want to reset the projector to a different state when your computer is shut down.
This can be accomplished by writing and debugging a script with the commands you want to execute. Once you have a functioning script, you can configure Windows to execute the script at startup or shutdown by using the Group Policy Editor (included with XP Professional.)
First off, create your new script and save it in the directory of your choice.Next, you need to invoke the group policy editor. To do that:
Windows opens up the Group Policy editor.
You can also add scripts for Startup, Logon and Logoff. It is up to you to determine when your script is executed.
Scripts employing a Projector Patrol projector driver can be used independent of the Projector Patrol desktop interface. Or they can be used in conjunction with the Projector Patrol desktop interface. The choice is yours.
