Commander

The Projector Patrol Commander window contains a menu bar, five button frames and two status frames.

The "Configure" menu may be hidden. It is displayed by default at startup but Projector Patrol Commander may be customized to hide the Configure menu if desired.

You can also toggle the visibility of the "Configure" menu by holding the [Ctrl]+[Shift] keys and simultaneously clicking on the "File" menu.

Button Frames:

Projector Power frame:

Contains the buttons used to turn the projector ON and OFF.

Clicking the "ON (Timer)" button causes the Set Projector Timer dialog to display if the Projector Patrol Sentry is running in the system tray. If the Projector Patrol Sentry is not running in the system tray, the Set Projector Timer Dialog is not displayed and the projector is turned ON immediately.

Clicking the "OFF" button causes the projector to turn OFF immediately.

Video Source frame:

May contain as many as 4 video source buttons. These buttons are used to select the video source you wish to project. The Video Source frame may be customized to hide the source selection buttons.

Volume frame:

Contains buttons used to raise and lower the audio volume level of the projector. The Volume frame may be customized to hide the volume Down & Up buttons.

Video & Audio frame:

Contains buttons used to mute and un-mute the video and audio of the projector. The Video & Audio frame may be customized to hide the Mute & Un-Mute buttons.

Video frame:

Contains buttons used to freeze and un-freeze the projected video image. The Video frame may be customized to hide the Freeze & Un-Freeze buttons.

 

Status Frames:

Timer frame:

Displays a green color graph bar indicating how much time is left before Projector Patrol turns the projector OFF. As the time begins to run out, the timer graph bar will turn yellow at the 1/4 time remaining level and red at the 1/8th time remaining level.

Commander Status frame:

Displays visual and textual feedback to the user whenever Projector Patrol is communicating with the data projector. This feedback includes status messages and error messages.
